FORT CASEY
Dreamt Design of 14 Years – Brought to Life.
Fort Casey, a Washington State Park of historical significance, developed a vision for a series of interpretive elements at the park 14 years ago. In 2016, they brought CRĒO on board as an integral partner to help tell its story through educational signage, replicas, and accessible structures. CRĒO coordinated with the Park stakeholders – historical experts, consultants, designers, and volunteers, working with them hand in hand, seamlessly guiding the process. CRĒO’s project manager teamed with the writer and graphic designer to help edit and compose interpretive panels, and the project team worked closely with historical preservation to ensure the attachments of each element wouldn’t adversely impact the fabric of the historical structures. The entire scope produced by CRĒO meets Historic Preservation and Universal Design standards.
